The Deep (1977)
Monday, July 26 @ 7pm
A World War II shipwreck provides the setting and plot device for this 1970s adventure film, which pits amateur divers against a drug kingpin in a race for the sunken treasure.
With the first underwater movie footage filmed in Panavision, The Deep was praised for its photography even as other elements of the film have become a time capsule of 1970s cinema.
